John Rocha's collection was simply beautiful. I loved all the textures involved from the extreme ruffles, smooth silk and dainty lace. Again, the canary yellow colour graced the catwalk in the form of this beautiful lace number. The head pieces were really cool as well and really complimented every garment shown - I wonder what the high-streets take on this will be if they attempt it!
Julien MacDonald's collection wasn't one I thought I would be featuring here on High Society. I don't think I've ever actually looked at his catwalk collections but from the range he does for Debenhams (it's Debenhams, right?) I didn't think I'd like it. Wrong. I love this collection. All the dresses were absolutely gorgeous and I could totally see myself wearing them (unlike that John Rocha ruffled number up the top left!). And there's that yellow again.
So, that's Saturdays picks! What do you think?

ReplyDeleteYes it is Debenhams! I work there and I have to say I'm not usually a Julien McDonald fan but there's definite improvement. I'm sure there'll be scaled down versions of these trends in Debenhams soon
